The Wagner line origingates with Joseph K. Wagner. Little is know about him. He married Susannah Minirva Kline in La Junta, Otero County, Colorado, USA in 1883.

John Kline and Harriet Brumgard were Susannah's parents. John served the Union Army in the American Civil War and was killed in during the Battle of the Wildernesss, Viginia. John and several of his brothers served in the Civil War. Most were wounded. See A Trail of History.
